Must be in good academic standing.
Anticipated graduation date of Spring 2020 or later
Attend Executive Board meetings
Attend Executive Board summer workshops
Devote a minimum of 3 hours per week to AIS related activities during the Fall & Spring semesters.
Check communication lines daily
Shadow respective officer during the Spring 2019 semester
Supervises all student organization meetings
Manages event planning
Keeping consistent communication with the advisor
Acts as external spokesperson of the organization and regularly interacts with other student organizations and University officials
Vice President of Operations
Assumes the duties of the President in his or her absence.
Organizes and leads competitions, hackathons and volunteering events.
Coordinates organization’s meetings and events.
Vice President of Finance & Membership
Maintain accurate records of the chapter’s financial status
Keep accurate records of payments and membership dues
Develop and promote fundraising initiatives
Assist other officers in event budgeting
Prepare budgets for funding proposals
Attend budget proposal meetings to represent AIS
Assist members in completing / submitting reimbursement paperwork when necessary
Record minutes for executive meetings
Create professional and concise marketing content
Post event flyers in a timely manner
Employ/use/reach out to other media to spread awareness of our organization
Keep all social media up to date
Directly communicate to members on GroupMe and email
